Text 6 May 1 note My Re-Found Friend

Lately, I have been trying out project ideas. I am kind of an odd bird when it comes to things that I have for hobbies, including sewing. I own my own sewing machine, in fact. It was a gift from my grandmother, Nan. She gave it to me when I started college. When I was young, after my parents’ divorce, I would spend my days with my Nan and Pop while my mom was at work. Great memories. Nan was a very skilled seamstress, and taught me the basics of using a sewing needle, and eventually I was promoted to using the machine as well.

Text 10 Feb iPhone Apps Review, Part 2

As I said in my last post, this is all stems from an idea that I had when Verizon’s iPhone 4 came out, either last week or today depending on whether or not you are just joining their services. I thought it might be helpful to some new iPhone users to point out some of the apps that have been helpful to me over the past three years or so. Seems like it would be more hygienic than a regular water fountain, and it provides for good conversation, too.

Text 21 Jan 18 notes Gelaskins.com Skins

A few weeks ago, I purchased a skin for my iPhone 4 from Gelaskins.com.  I read about their products in an article about iPhone accessories, I think it was from CNet (it may have been another source, I can’t find a link now).  After reviewing hundreds of artwork options, I eventually settled on one featuring “The Great Wave,” a wood block print by Katsushika Hokusai.
